Australian sculptor Paul Kaptein handcrafts laminated wood into some of the most innovative and interesting sculptures. Interested in materialism and inspired by both nature and the concept of time, the Australian creates works that are realistic yet undoubtedly surreal, simultaneously blending real life and in fantasy.
Since Jonathon Paul‘s emergence as a street artist under the name of Desire Obtain Cherish in the early 2000s, (DOC) has become known as pop sculptor working across a wide variety of different media and a combination of styles including street, pop, conceptual and appropriation art. His controversial art work explores contemporary desires and obsessions with sex, gender, drugs, commerce, media and fame. Transporting controversial, satirical messages, Paul’s vibrantly colorful, entertaining and impeccably produced art exposes society’s inability to control itself and examines the commercial promise of fulfillment and happiness that ends in dependency.
Paul McCarthy, born August 4, 1945, is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Los Angeles, California. For his project entitled “White Snow Dwarfs” he takes a life-size and controversial approach to re-apprpriating Disney’s characters the 7 Dwarves.
Paul Cooper‘s an illustrator from the UK with a love for all things pop culture. As you know, we too are in love with pop culture and definitely things that are nostalgic. Cooper’s illustrations vary from Tim Burton’s Batman to Mad Men. Regardless, these sort of things are always a treat to look at.

Jean-Paul Bourdier‘s beautiful series entilted “Bodyscapes” is a fantastic series that takes the female nude figure and blends them into the landscape around them. A brilliant way to fuse different types of photography (nudes, landscape and blending with the surroundings).

Well, it’s safe to say few of us have nuts the way Michael Tompert does. He buys up the latest goodies that people wait in line for hours and spend hundreds of dollars for and then smashes or explodes the hell out of them. The result is too cool. The photographs are by Paul Fairchild.
