Vincent Bal – Shadow Illustrations
Filmmaker Vincent Bal recently embarked on a new series of illustrations. The Belgian artist decided to start creating a doodle a day on a piece of paper which utilizes shadows from various objects which are placed next to the paper to give him the foundation of the piece. From burglars to polar bears, Bal whimsically recreates humorous scenes with merely a fine-liner and some trickery.

Our friend Klaas Van der Linden has recently unveiled his new exhibition “VOYAGE” at Blanco Gallery in Ghent, Belgium. Sainer ETAM – New Mural in Brussels, Belgium
Polish aritst Sainer of the ETAM Cru recently made his way out to Belgium to paint a gigantic new figured based piece. The new work entitled “Mother” was created for the Une Ville En Couleur project in Brussels and features a mother caressing a young child with another toddler behind her holding a piece of a Rowan tree.

The one and only Aryz recently made his way out to Belgium where he painted yet another brilliant wall on the streets of Ghent. The latest piece entitled “Decay” features his signature skeleton parts alongside a number of still life elements.

The one and only Maya Hayuk recently made her way out to Belgium where she painted a beautiful new interior mural for the MIMA Museum. Featuring her classic layered and drippy line work, the American artist added some spectacular colour the the Brussels space.

Our man Klaas Van der Linden just sent over some images of a new wall he completed out in Belgium. Invited by the Sorry, Not Sorry Street Art festival, Van der Linden took a few days to go big and painted a sailor on boat lost at sea, hence the title.
1010 – Crystal Ship Festival in Belgium
Street artist 1010 has recently been out in Belgium where he got busy on a new wall for the Crystal Ship Festival. Alongside a number of other artists, 1010 crushed a new piece on a stale blank wall adding some nice colour to the building using his trompe l’oeil aesthetic.
