ABOVE – Timing Is Everything
It took nearly 7 or so months of searching the streets at night for Above’s new installation. This break dancer stencil truly comes to life at night. The title for the video is extremely appropriate because as we know with street art, timing is everything!
Diet Wiegman – Shadow Casting Sculptures
Diet Wiegman‘s an artist who’s work ranges almost every aspect of art. From drawing to ceramics the man has it down. However, his light sculptures are what have received a significant amount of recognition and it’s obvious why. Using various materials and lights to cast shadows that resemble uncannily like imagery that range from Michelangelo’s “David” to Michael Jackson.
Sonja Vordermaier – Shadow 28
Sonja Vordermaier received an MA in fine arts at the Hochschule für bildende Künste, Hamburg. Vordermaier now lives and works in Hamburg, Germany. Here’s a gallery installation piece that is spectacular entitled “Shadow 28”.
