Walt Siegl – Riviera Ducati SS 2011

This Riviera Ducati SS 2011 Commissioned by a private collector in 2011 to high end motorcycle creator Walt Siegl. In his own words: “Before I started this bike I looked at a lot of NCR racebikes from the 70′s. Their simplicity and rawness really impress me. I had the problem of having to build a street bike for this customer, so I had to comb the bike a bit in order to adapt it to its intended use.”

Motorcycle Monday – Mikhail Smolyanov Concepts

“Motorcycle concepts are a dime a dozen. But these renderings, from Moscow designer Mikhail Smolyanov, show an extraordinary level of style and imagination. The “GL1-m” above was commissioned by an established Russian vehicle fabricator called Alexander Bushuev, who plans to turn the machine into metal. There’s very little information on the fluoro green C-Org Trike below, but the steampunk-style design (bottom) was apparently inspired by 1920s racing cars fitted with aircraft engines.” – BikeExif

There were just two rules: the donor bike had to be an SR250, and you were only allowed to spend €1,000 on parts—around US$1,300.”

The motorcycle was manufactured in 1934 as a prototype and never went into production It was put in a box and into storage after some usable parts were stripped and used in other projects. In June 2005, the box was opened. Inside, the R7 was 70 per cent complete, but its condition was not good.
